Life for women in Palestine

It’s not that she’s a woman, and it’s not that she’s almost certainly going to be shot as a spy for allegedly helping Israel.  It’s the reason she began spying in the first place.

Stories like this are so sad. Groups like NOW (National Organization of Women) get all up in arms over some staffers being called “honey” by a southern Senator or call some women trailer trash for saying Bill Clinton cheated on his wife. But they remain silent about the plight of women like this Palestinian outcast.

I won’t hold my breath for Obama or Hillary to do anything either except to say this woman has the right to wear the hijab!

Such women are the ultimate enemies of Obama, Hillary, and NOW.

“her husband forced her to work as a prostitute”

This strikes me as _so_ odd. The feeling about women and sexuality is so strong…how do prosititutes even exist? why aren’t they stoned? Does it mean that they have no families who “care”? If she’s declared a prostitute then it’s ok, but if she’s a “decent” woman then she gets stoned? I think I just don’t understand.

On the other hand, I think I’d rather be shot as a spy than stoned.

Does islam require any punishment for a husband who pimps his wife, or as a “field to be plowed” is that ok?
