I was driving around town when CBS news came on the radio. They discussed the Iranian situation in all its drama, then went to Obama clips and info. The Obama administration... had decided... that what it needed to be discussing... was North Korea.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha! "Gee, fellas, we're getting our a$$es soundly kicked over Iran, so let's try to divert the American people from our a$$-whipping by discussing a completely different country that is barely in the news right now!"

Yeah, that'll work. The American people *are* in fact THAT stupid.

Word to the stupid in your Admin, Obama baby: No, the American people are not that stupid.

He obviously thought Chicago thud-a-tics would play globally.

Sure...just like the 5'4" of me could play center in professional basketball.

It saddens me to say that I think that Book has accurately depicted ∅bama's thinking on the matter. ∅bama doesn't really care about foreign policy, and is operating under the assumption that making nice with our enemies will calm them down enough so that he can continue his domestic takeovers.

My brother-in-law emigrated from Germany with his parents shortly after WW2 ended. Shortly after the November election, he said that Hitler had used the pretext of "emergency" to drastically change things, and predicted that ∅bama woudl do the same. My yellow dog Democrat sister-in-law considered that a gross misprediction of the future. Appears that someone born under the Nazis can better read the tea leaves.

From ∅bama's point of view, the current events in Iran are an unpleasant distraction to his domestic goals. He is hoping they will go away.

Bolton's right, of course. Given that the Mullahs' hand-picked all four candidate, we know that they are all in line with the Mullahs' grand plans. What's so fascinating here is that the people of Iran seem a bit upset by being played like pianos -- and even more so by the fact that the Mullahs were too lazy even to make a good pretense of a truly democrat election.

Here’s John Bolton’s view on what’s really at stake in all this:

Hard-liners like Ahmadinejad want to continue Iran’s nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs and boast about “wiping Israel off the map.” By contrast, the moderates want to continue Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs but remain silent, thus more effectively deluding many willing Westerners.

Mir-Hossein Mousavi was the founder of Hezbollah.

Until Iran is a 'mullah-free zone' we are indeed, in deep do-do.
