Dreams of Obama

Two nights ago, I had an Obama dream, which probably happened because he’s become omnipresent in our lives.  I dreamed that I was staying at a luxury hotel and that, despite the fact that he was president, he was acting as concierge.  I remember saying in my dream that, while he’s a bad president, he’s a pretty good concierge.  The next day, when I told a friend at lunch about my dream, I added that I was simply happy that it wasn’t one of those erotic Obama dreams that New York Times readers seem to feel are the norm!

Now it turns out I’m not the only conservative having Obama dreams.  The Anchoress had an Obama dream too.

I cannot imagine Barry being a good, or even an average concierge. Unless you wanted to know where to go for a government handout, a grant, a subsidy, a sinecure, a patronage job or a bribe.

On second thought, he might be an excellent concierge for the future.

I don’t think I have had any dreams.

But if I did, I’m pretty sure it wasn’t about Obama.

    Not recently, that is.

I like a little garlic in some of my food. The thing is with garlic, if you eat an abundance of it, you begin to smell like it. Spicy foods have a similar effect on the body..enough ‘heat’ and your start to sweat to release the heat.

The “dreams” are like my examples. We have had plate after plate of Obama served to us day-in day-out. Three meals a day and we are stuffed to the gills. Seems quite natural to me that we would rid ourselves of as much excess as humanly possibly while we slept – since it’s the only time we are not being spoon fed.

I’ve had the occasional Nixon dream, but none yet, thankfully, of either Obama or Rod Stewart.
