Quick, quick picks *UPDATED*

The emerging Obama doctrine (and it’s not pretty).

Does Obama even care what’s happening in Iran?

Just as Pelosi seemed intent on the dangerous tactic of alienating the CIA (and whatever happened to that scandal?), Obama seems to enjoy pushing the envelope too.

Obama’s presidency revealing the fault lines between urban and rural Dems.

Jonah Goldberg also noticed that Obama’s refusal to speak is a direct rebuke to the Iranian people.  (Link fixed.)

Maybe we should wear green in solidarity too.

Barack Obama — murderer!  Okay, I’m exaggerating.  He killed a fly.  If Bush had done it, he would have been a murderer.  As it is, ABC jokingly likens him to a “SWAT” team — which isn’t a bad pun at all, but is it news?

The SF Board of Stupidvisors chickened out last night, and decided not to vote on pushing to have the State AG drop charges against the seven men accused of murdering a police officer in 1971.  They’ve tabled the initiative for a later date.

Hand me a life jacket and vomit cup please.  I’m going to the pool.

Even in hate-filled regions, harmony can flower.

Next time you hear during the health care debate about the vast number of uninsured Americans (46 mil), remember that this number is false.

A reminder that, the joy of playing “gotcha” with the Dems aside, we don’t want to become as humorless as our liberal counterparts.

UPDATE:  Britain’s burkha rage.

TEHRAN, Iran – Iran accused the United States on Wednesday of “intolerable” meddling in its internal affairs, alleging for the first time that Washington has fueled a bitter postelection dispute. Opposition supporters marched in huge numbers through Tehran’s streets for a third straight day to protest the outcome of the balloting.

The Iranian government summoned the Swiss ambassador, who represents U.S. interests in Iran, to complain about American interference, state-run Press TV reported.

The English-language channel said the government called Western interference “intolerable.

Wow! This is a response to the ever so muted reaction from our leader. Now, if only Obama would swat Iran like he does ‘flys’ for the camera. Hmm…wonder if PETA has a policy on fly swatting to the death?

The Jonah Goldberg link is a duplicate of the ‘rural Democrats’ link.
