A bombing in Indonesia. I wonder who’s behind it?

I’m away from my computer for a few hours and return to find the headlines filled with stories of a terrible bombing at two luxury hotels in Jakarta.  I’m going to guess that Catholics are not behind the bombing.  I’m also going to guess that Hindus, Jews, Protestants, animists, Wiccans, Sun worshippers, and atheists are not behind the bombing.

In a few hours or a day, whenever the detailed reports emerge, let’s see if my suspicions about who isn’t responsible for the bombings prove to be right.  I’ll be polite enough right now not to voice my suspicions about which group might be behind the bombing.  You can probably guess what I’m thinking.  And I’d take it to the bank that all of us are correct.

Needless to say, my thoughts are with the wounded, the dead and the families and friends of those caught in the blast.

    I’m going to venture a guess here and say that it was probably pro-life abortion clinic bombers or a group of right-wing talk show hosts.

    I’m going to take a wild guess that the answer will not appear in the NY Times, the Washington Post, the LA Times or on MSNBC. How will we ever find out who did it?

    The Boy Scouts. I’ve often been suspicious of that “Be Prepared” motto. Be prepared for what, I ask? The answer is obvious: Be Prepared for Bombings! Why else would they reject gay scout leaders?
