From 1942′s Me And My Gal, Gene Kelly’s first movie after his huge success in Pal Joey, on Broadway:
It’s so obvious watching it that Gene and Judy delighted in performing with each other. Lovely music, lovely performers, lovely clip.

I didn’t know that Judy Garland was also a passable hoofer, nor that she played the piano. I assume her piano playing here is not faked.
I was never a big Judy Garland fan, but that was excellent! Thanks for sharing.
How about Irene Dunne in “Roberta”. She and Greer Garson epitomized the ideal woman to me. At the end of the clip is a bonus of Fred and Ginger.

Then there’s “Cover Girl”. The gorgeous, gorgeous– did I mention gorgeous Rita Hayworth.

BrianE, you are a movie viewer after my own heart. To me, the TV has one purpose and one purpose alone: Turner Classic Movies.
