About Obama’s sudden announcement that people will die of the H1N1 virus

Obama’s back is against the wall so, with his lackeys’ announcement about 90,000 potential H1N1 deaths, it looks as if he’s deflecting attention, rather than passing on useful information.  Given Obama’s manifest motives, the numbers may or may not be true.  We know he predicts budget numbers down when it suits him, and it’s unclear whether he’ll predict viral numbers up (to scare people) or down (to hide problems on his watch).  Once a guy has established himself as dishonest, you always know he’s lying, even if you don’t know precisely what direction that lie is taking.

But even the number is dead on accurate, here’s something to think about:  In a normal year, more than 30,000 Americans die of the flu, out of a population of more than 300,000,000 people.  If Obama’s H1N1 numbers are correct, the projected deaths will have a (sadly) negative effect on a mere .0003 of the total American population.  Just to put that in context, the Spanish Influenza in 1918 killed about 675,000 Americans, and this happened when the population was only around 100,000,000.  Even that nightmarish period killed only .006 of the population.  To give even more context, the Black Death in 1348 killed between a half to a third of Europe’s population, depending on which country you’re examining.

I don’t wish an H1N1 death on anyone, and I don’t wish an Americans a flu season that has triple the number of usual deaths.  Nevertheless, I don’t appreciate a panicked politican trying to stoke our panic by dumping essentially meaningless numbers on us, both to hide his own failings and to try to bully us to conform to his manifestly unworkable agenda.

If I was working for evil, I would recommend that Obama engineer a pandemic here in America and then utilize that Emergency to pass EMergency Legislation concerning the government nationalization and quarantine procedures.

THe economic crisis engineered by Dems and Soros apparatchiks in Fall 2008 worked. And I believe my recommendation would work as well.

The difficulty here is that the Left has capital and influence in economic sectors. THe number of people with backgrounds in bio ware and also loyal to the Democrat ideology, however, are far more sparse.

    The economic sector:

This is a link I found on a site I check daily. _Never_ in a thousand years would I have been likely to have found it by myself. As far as that goes, _NEVER_ in a million years would I have thought I’d find myself seriously considering anything Larry Flynt would be likely to be saying…

    Nevertheless:

Maybe this really belongs in the thread in which Y has commented upon the “common language” of the resistence. Maybe some common ground is being created…?

    And an “oh yeah”…

Watch out for the “Never let a good crisis go to waste” thing. This looks like a perfect setup for a “suspend all laws” crisis possibility.

Remember, as devious and cunning as leftists are, they’re not particularly bright.

Let’s say Obama or his minions were to decide to unleash a devastating plague on America in order to set up a total takeover. Are these guys smart enough to design a virus that only takes out conservatives, Christians and producers?

How are they going to function when millions of their followers are dead? What happens when all those fat-a**ed SEIU and ACORN goons are in bed yelling for their mommies, instead of out intimidating old ladies, because their tummies hurt?

It’d be more or less how China ended up with the bird flu.

Or imagine Nagin in charge of the entire state of Louisiana and its medical care. Now that’s a weapon of mass destruction.

Now that’s certainly a nightmare scenario! And no George W. Bush around to for them to blame it on!
