Did you know that Anne Frank had been captured on film?

It’s a 20 second video clip, but you see a moment of life in 1930s Germany [or Holland, if it's a late enough movie clip] — and Anne Frank, high in a window above, looking down on the bride and groom:

A small point, but surely this is Amsterdam rather than Germany.

Maybe it is Amsterdam. It looked more German to me, and she looks so young. I forget when they moved to Holland, though.

I’ve never seen the clip before; But, I have seen the “screen capture” of her looking out the window several times before and it has always been identified as being in the Netherlands.

And with all those bicycles I’d bet that it is the Netherlands.

But, that’s beside the point. It is an interesting clip and at the same time somewhat eerie to watch. One cannot help but wonder – what is going through their minds? Are they aware of the doom that is about to fall on, not just on their own lives, but all of Europe?
