Certainly it is correct to consign to the dustbin claims that someone who had never been in combat was suffering from PTSD. However, he worked as a psychiatrist, and it can be stressful working with psychiatric patients. From what I have read, the Army was not satisfied with his work, which added some more stress. That being said, recall HST”s famous statement : “If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen.”
This was a terrorist attack. He should be hung for treason. If it were up to me, I would have him buried in pig fat.

All of us here are agreed that one of the most telling things about liberals is their disconnect from reality. The usual suspects—The Nation, NYT, the whore TV media and the academy—can attempt all they want to pretend that Islam has nothing to do with atrocities worldwide and persuade the public that this is so.

The problem is that Islam is like our proverbial scorpion—it cannot change its nature and is compelled by it toward violence. There’s no question that domestically terror attacks related to Islam will increase in frequency and ferocity now that a quisling occupies the presidency.

But this where Muslims are going to run into a problem: Americans are not self-haters the way the French, Brits and Germans are. We don’t believe we deserve to be attacked or spat upon by people who subscribe to a religion that is borderline savage in the amount of hatred it projects onto the world.

There will be a pushback. And no amount of handwringing by the left is going to stop it.

The fact that the leaders of the “Western” democracies refuse to attack Islam as the supremacist ideology that it is guarantees that we will all be reliving the Fort Hood experience in the future. That no one national leader is willing to stand up and say look at the hate and violence that is encouraged in their Koran and that Islam puts the non-Muslim population of the world at risk as long as it is allowed to spread unchallenged and uncontrolled.
