If we go out and yell and moan loudly enough, we can alter reality and the funding cuts will be magically restored! If that doesn't work, tax the rich! (The problem there is that 144,000 Californians currently pay half the state's income taxes. With the U.S. Constitution [still] in effect, these people are free to leave.
