Sacred cows are falling at SNL, as it skewers Barack Obama and his policies

Why didn’t they figure out before November 2008 that there was no there there? The parody is good, but is it too late?

The parody is soooo late, it’s called a eulogy.
They didn’t even make Obama do the bow to kiss up. Instead the Chinese are bowing.
Jintao may be bowing, butt he’s showing BHO what he thinks of him. (In the parody.)
I was reading some commentary about this on the HotAir site and somebody remarked that the skit was “reactionary,” in the sense that it wasn’t an example of SNL finally developing a set of stones. Rather it was that SNL realizing that it’s on the verge of getting left behind. The tide is turning against The One, and they have to react quickly lest they perceived as slow and unhip.
I thought that was a good insight.
Still, even though SNL is way late to the party, any enemy of my enemy is a friend of mine.
SNL is a ship without a sail. When they show up at port on their own steam, they’ll look more sea worthy.
There’s fashionable late, but when you show up on the wrong day .. you look like a fool.
