Rather it was that SNL realizing that it's on the verge of getting left behind. The tide is turning against The One, and they have to react quickly lest they perceived as slow and unhip. I thought that was a good insight. Still, even though SNL is way late to the party, any enemy of my enemy is a friend of mine.
