The Nanny State Commander in Chief

Do you ever wonder what it’s like to live in Iowahawk’s brain? I do. Brilliant satire flows out of him so effortlessly that I know that his brain functions in a very different, and much more sophisticated, way than mine does. Take the Nanny State approach to war. Unable to come up with my own satire, I was only able to allude to Tom Lehrer’s (very funny) Harvard fight song as a useful analogy to the Left’s toothless approach to war.
Iowahawk, on the other hand, doesn’t need to rely on anyone else for humor. Instead, he has created this masterpiece of political comedy.

When speaking on any matter military, President Obama invariably reminds me of the Mad Magazine satire of “Lawrence of Arabia” which they dubbed “Flawrence of Arabia.” Flawrence and the Arabs were attacking a train and Flawrence yelled out, “Charge, men! But try to avoid bloodshed! I mean, kill them … but don’t hurt them! I mean nothing messy! INTERNAL INJURIES ONLY! INTERNAL INJURIES ONLY!!”
Followed by “Ooooh, have I got problems!” which shows that Flawrence of Arabia was worlds ahead of the President in his self-awareness.
Don’t read the Iowahawk piece while eating – your computer screen will regret it! That is a classic piece.
