Don Quixote’s Thought for the Day: Keeping Score

I used to keep score for my son’s Little League team.  No matter what the score, it could be 12-3, the kids would come running up to me between innings and ask what the score was.  We are born to compete.  We need to compete.  The score matters, even to 8-year-olds.  Sports without keeping score is nothing more that pointless flailing about.
