I can’t help but contrast Obama’s brain freeze when faced with non-teleprompted situations against Sarah Palin’s barely noticeable pause when her teleprompter fritzed at the RNC. She thereafter simply continued with blow-out speech from memory as if nothing had happened. But of course, Obama’s brilliant, Palin’s stooopid!

Greetings:
Back prior to his election, I commented about how I would play now President Obama on the basketball court. My strategy was to “play him without the ball” meaning that I would forego any offensive (scoring) opportunities in order to save my energy to harass him relentlessly on defense. I indicated that I would bump him, step on his toes and the backs of his sneakers, whisper sweet nothings in his ear, and maybe pluck a leg hair or two. I think that this heckling episode shows how he can come apart when people don’t play nice with him, not there haven’t been much more serious examples lately.
Also, I again see President Obama appearing at a public event without a proper necktie. This seems to be a bit of a trend as I have seen both the adulterous Mayor of San Francisco and the mostly incompetent Governator of California so attired at their recent public appearances. I don’t know if this is part of President Obama’s outreach to Ahmedinijad of Iran or a mark of his solidarity with those actually suffering in the Democrat’s recession. Either way, I think someone should mention to him that open collared shirts aren’t a fashion asset for the pencil-necked.

Mike, there is more juice on NObama's Wall Street remark. “He decided to park his truck on Wall Street,” Obama exclaimed at the rally. Given all the campaign funding NObama got from Wall Street last year, that remark is comical. What' s that old saying about pot and kettle? You are not the only one who gets the impression that NObama prefers attacking Republicans to attacking terrorists. Time and again we get this vibe from him. does Barack Obama have against truck drivers? He’s hit Scott Brown for driving a truck at least three times now in Boston. Truck drivers are voters too.

From what I’ve read, Brown has owned that truck for years. It’s an intrinsic part of him and his lifestyle, just like arugula in his salad is an intrinsic part of Barry’s.

And it may just be me, but when Barry is in full attack mode against a Republican, there appears to be an intensity to his meanness that indicates he’s deadly serious, unlike when he speaks about underwear terrorists who are trying to murder 260+ other Americans – in which case he comes off like a bored prosecutor trying to decide whether to press charges or not.

He also seems to relish those attack moments. Perhaps one of the few times he gets to drop the mask and show his real persona, the one that is furious and angry all the time, just like Michelle… and gets to show how sick of the middle-class, good-valued American people he is, people whom he considers disgusting and contemptible… people who drive trucks.

As would I. I have thought the same about Rush and NObama. Unfortunately, it will never happen, as NObama and his handlers are all too aware what would occur.

Politicians in the UK are very practiced at handling hecklers.

Bob Kerrey, the former Senator from Nebraska, issued a statement that Brown did not believe in evolution. Brown spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom comments to NRO: “Scott Brown believes in evolution but in the case of Bob Kerrey he’s willing to make an exception.”

BTW, my sister in Mass says that the Democratic Party has been sending her e-mails every day. Those e-mails did not make her a happy camper.

My comment was too pithy; I think Obama’s ”one-track” nature applies across the board, to foreign policy, to economic policy, to practically everything. I brought up the teleprompter because his response in that video matches his response when the teleprompter goes on the fritz: He starts beaming that meaningless telegenic smile to the camera and the crowds, and says those vague, meaningless platitudes: “We’re fine. We’re OK. We’re fine.” Over and over. ”Are you fired up? I’m fired up!” Over and over.

When his foreign policy and economic policies fail – policies I almost always disagree with strongly – can he adjust at all? It’s not just that he may not be willing to adjust. He may not be capable of adjusting. Typical of a hard-core idealogue… not typical of the centrist he pretended to be in the campaign.
