Boy oh boy, this submission on the story of the pregnant woman who was ordered by a judge to be confined to a hospital – and a hospital BED – because her smoking cigarettes endangered the life and health of fetus.

People splitting all kinds of hairs as they try to defend the need, in this case, for extraordinary levels of judicial activism and intervention into our daily lives, regulating every possible aspect of our activities, in the interests of protecting the fetus from the activities of the mother.
