I remember this episode.

Reminded me of the poem Fire and Ice. Will the world end in fire or ice; which is the better route.

I've read (sorry, no links) that statistics show clearly that far more people are killed by both seasonable and unseasonable cold weather than by heat....so that if we have to risk an ice age or global warming, the latter is far preferable.

But it was never about warming, anyhow -- the entire exercise is about power. I presume everyone here remembers the price of freedom......

Madlik (brilliant) and ever so timely in this political climate calendar year.
Although I am not enthralled with all the snow this winter (Philly will break all records by tomorrow since 1884) but if it keeps 'them' out of D.C. until Spring ... Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
They have left 'town' again ....
"Unable to cope with the literally unbearable conditions"
Amazing how they manage flights back to their villages across the country, while a friend of mine has been waiting for her daughter-in-law to fly in from Ca. since last Friday to help her post surgery.

And thus I slowly returned to consciousness from my fever dream of the far-left Obama Presidency... only to find myself, a secret Christian, under the thrall of the most vicious fundamentalist Muslim theocracy that could be envisioned ruling the Muslim States Of America.

Nifty article...I posted a similarly themed piece on my blog, Plumwood Road, not long ago. http://plumwoodroad.blogspot.com/ On December 21st, 2009 to be exact, regarding an episode titled "To Serve Man", which seems to parallel the Health Care Debate and the 2,000+ page plan. Take a look and see what you think.
