In reading those Ann Coulter quotes, I can see why the mere mention of her name turns liberals into sputtering, infuriated latter day versions of Donald Duck.
Gringo…have you read any of her books?
I’m not especially fond of her style – she sticks these _really_ acerbic comments in the middle of serious material, and sometimes I get to the middle of the next page before I hit the “WHAT? _what_ did she just say” button…very distracting. Often very funny, though. Nevertheless, I think her books are worth a read – they’re very well researched, and are political history worth reading. Except her last one – “If Democrats were Smart – They’d Be Republicans”. That’s just a compendium of witty comments, which are very funny when they’re in context, but standing alone, they’re just not all that funny. Her “Treason” book was an eye-opener for me though.
