If I could link to pretty much everything Lincoln said or wrote, I'd do that as my "favorite quote." Since that's not possible, I'll list a *few* of my favorite quotes.

Nathan Hale: "I regret that I have but one life to give for my country."
Abraham Lincoln: "God must love common people, that's why He made so many." (Not necessarily 'patriotic,' but it illustrates Lincoln's excellent humor.)
Patrick Henry: “The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government.” And: "Give me liberty or give me death!"

"If you’re in charge, you’re bad; if you’re struggling to overthrow those in charge, you’re good."

Have you ever wondered why they never think about when they will be in charge and fighting off counter-revolutionaries? Why is it that they don't even think about the problem of applying a standard that would then justify the counter-revolutionaries.

My answer is simple. Because they think that once they gain power, it will be forever. There will be nobody that can change the status quo. They will forever be the ones running things. Thus they are immune from divine or temporal punishment.

Also, because they will now work to permanently improve humanity for eternity, they are justified in whatever atrocities they deem useful in the pursuit of power.

You asked for our favorite patriotic quotes, I have a list of hundreds that I use in my blog all the time. Here are a few of them:
"Be not intimidated… nor suffer yourselves to be wheedled out of your liberties
by any pretense of politeness, delicacy, or decency. These, as they are often
used, are but three different names for hypocrisy, chicanery and cowardice." John Adams
"God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure
when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God?
Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice
cannot sleep forever." Thomas Jefferson
"Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a
dangerous servant and a fearful master" George Washington
"In Republics, the great danger is, that the majority may not sufficiently respect
the rights of the minority." James Madison
"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the
animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your
counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May
your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our
countrymen" Samuel Adams
Some of these might not be "Patriotic", but they come from our Founders, which makes them important, none the less.
