Most Jews I know are dyed-in-the-matzoh liberals. Smart folks many of them, but mind-locked. And like many liberals, not very practical. That is to say, they get all caught up in various moral and ethnic complexes and never ask themselves what the actual on-the-ground consequences might be of their high-minded opinions.
So, if America and American Jews no longer support Israel, what’s the scenario?
Well, they all lead to the State of Israel no longer being viable, that is, being dominated by or actually overwhelmed by the surrounding Muslim hordes. And I use that word consciously.
So what happens to the six million Jews who live there? Does anyone believe that they would not be reduced to misery and either driven out –to go where? (certainly not back to Germany and Poland, a la Helen Thomas)– or murdered.

Not in the least. I have plodded, cajoled, pleaded, explained and implored to the few liberals that dare identify themselves as such to me, that Israel is not a luxury, she is a necessity that insures the right of Jews to live in America unfettered.

Possibly due to a misunderstanding of Talmudic thinking regarding moral and ethical thinking and how it’s applied in the 21st century?
