    My only quibble is that he calls it an ‘early version of rap”… I sort of understand what he means, but I think the term demeans it.  What do you think?

    I love this song, but the last verse has always bothered me:  “All my friends were older but no wiser,” which I think pretty much sums up the problem with the left.  They’ve all managed to get lots older but haven’t learned a blessed thing, having apparently devoted their lives to explaining to experience why it’s wrong, rather than learning from it.
