He’s absolutely right:  the next two elections will decide if we have a meaningfully free country any more.  Problem is, you know that, I know that, and some other people know that, but does the whole country know this?  I have serious doubts and so I am very worried.

To _Choose_, not “chose”….present vs past tense…!

He’s right, of course – regardless of tense.  There are some sites I visit that consider that political solutions are already too late.

    I hope they’re wrong.

Thanks, Suek.  I have to admit that “choose” and “chose” always look identical to me, so it’s a little hit or miss whether I pick the right one.

Chose is like Chosin, it is a past battle. Think of it like that and it might work for ya ; )

On the topic of choosing, I really think that it would be a good idea to take all the Presidential candidate and simply put them in the same administration. It wouldn’t matter who gets to be President, if the conservative base is united by knowing that all their candidates for nomination is going to have positions of power.

Leaders need resources and if Christie and all these people are as good as conservatives claim they are, then they should be able to work together and draw off each other’s sources of strength.

I’m a great believer in unified theories concerning discipline and combined arms forces. Picked it up by studying military history, you may say. I don’t think of a great leader, alone against the tide, politically. I think of an army, with great subordinates, who are just as much capable of leading as the current commander.
