Home, sweet home!

Got back about an hour ago. I’ve unpacked, run a load of laundry, made lunch, and am leaving to pick the dog up from the kennel. I have been absolutely and completely removed from the news from two weeks. News-wise, it’s as if they never happened. I have a lot of catching up to do.
What I can do here and now, though, is extend my deepest thanks to Don Quixote and Danny Lemieux for keeping this blog lively in my absence. I am so grateful to both of you! Thank you for sharing your wit, wisdom and insight with everyone, while I lived a decadent life on a cruise ship down in Mexico. Your brains are exercised; mine is completely flaccid.
I’ll return to blogging tonight or tomorrow morning. I missed you all and look forward to getting back into the fray.

Welcome home, Bookie! Happy New Year!
Welcome back and I can’t wait to hear about your adventures!
Uh oh…cruise ship, two weeks, all the chocolate ice cream you ever wanted.
Buckle up boys n’ girls – Bookworm has lots of energy : )
Were you REALLY on a cruise for two weeks!?
Wowsers! All we did was spend 10 days with Gail’s siblings in Chico…looking for a house so we can move down here.
A great time was had by all, but it ain’t a Cruise!
Welcome home….I can hardly wait to get back to Bend and start packing.
Welcome home.
Are you going to share video footage?
No videos, Danny. I’m not a very visual person (words are my thing), so I don’t record the trip on film or computer but, instead, try to keep a record in my mind’s eye.
There’s always voice recorders you can buy to record a personal narration of events.
Although they are more popular in Japan than in the US.
