Foxnews has a telephone interview by Shepard Smith with the woman who, when Loughner was tackled, grabbed a pistol magazine from his hand and sat on his ankles to help restrain him. The longer I listened, for almost 10 minutes, the more impressed I was by this brave woman. She corrected Smith as to how the event transpired, did not magnify her own actions, and spoke objectively. Then, at the very end she began to dump on Republicans and ramble about incitement.

I was SO disappointed.

Giffords is Jewish and so was her aide Gabe Zimmerman. I don’t think there’s anyway to tell if or how much it played a part at this point. It did, however, cross my mind from the start. He was certainly fixated on her. She married in November 2007 (that’s when his fixation began) which would have made the killer about 19 and at the age when schizophrenia begins to rear its ugly head predominately in males.

By the way…I picked up somewhere that Gibbons is Jewish. Does that play a part? Maybe, considering the “Mein Kampf” choice. Or maybe not. He did apparently fasten on her for _some_ reason … but given his state of mind maybe it was for no reason – at least none that any of us could observe.

Americans are at the point where they are beginning to receive positively a leader with the power to terminate, permanently, politicians. And it is the Left, with their revolutionary rhetoric but lacking the guts to do anything (Ayers got real funny looking once that bomb blew out the brains of his associates) about it.

Speaking personally, Sarah Palin ordering the political deaths of certain individuals, wouldn’t bother me in the least. It would, in fact, raise my level of respect for her determination.
For example, it’s one thing for a Blue Dog to die. It’s another thing for Byrd or Ted Kennedy to have been offed.
