Awful, awful, awful

I thought one of the purposes behind legal abortion was to prevent things like this from happening. You know, “safe, legal and rare.” Awful, awful, awful.

Book, this happens all the time. One of the arguments against Obama is that, when he was an Illinois State Senator in a heavily Democrat-controlled state senate, he voted to kill a bill that would have made it illegal to kill a baby that is “aborted” alive. Instead, what they do now is simply toss the babies on a pile to die slowly. As long as the abortionist does not actively kill the baby, it isn’t murder.
The Roman Catholic Church’s whole position against abortion has been based (in-part – there are many other reasons) is that it moves the bar back away from reverence of life to a disdain and diminishment of life. As Daniel Patrick Moynihan put it, “It defines deviancy downward”. See what is happening with euthanasia as well…same thing. We don’t even need to broach the subject of death panels again, do we?
Barbara Boxer once said (1999 on the floor of the U.S. Senate) that an aborted “fetus” who is accidentally delivered alive is not a person until the mother consents to take it home with her.
I have no doubt that the Mengele-like abortionist being prosecuted in this instance will defend himself thusly. When a woman goes to have an abortion, by God, the doctor has an ethical responsbility to deliver a dead non-person.
The man was simply fulfilling his moral obligation to a poor woman in dire straits who was forced by a patriarchal society to wait until the very last moment before coming in to have her “fetus” dismembered.
Isn’t it funny how the world’s cadre of self-appointed control freaks, The Left, get amazingly laissez-faire when it comes to illegal drugs, audits of labor unions, and the abortion industry? And that’s why this keeps happening. “Safe, legal, and rare,” but with their fingers crossed behind their backs on the “rare” part, and a strong indifference on the “safe” part. The “legal” part, though, is paramount, because when your god is named “Government,” legality and morality are one and the same.
They’re evil. End of story.
It’s for the children Spartacus. What they didn’t tell you, was that the get rich quick for politicians scheme was only for the children in the sense that it was for killing the children. You get it?
Y-Man, I used to think you had to be a former governor of Arkansas to parse words with that level of cynicism. I’d prefer not to have to update that belief.
We keep trying to tell the leftists that abortion is an immoral & savage act. They should not be surprised to find out that the doctors who perform these acts are immoral and savage.
On a side note, I know several years ago I read about another abortion doctor whose office was shut down due to filthy conditions as well as baby parts being stored in the break-room fridge and reports from the staff that they had witnessed said doctor eating baby parts. Not sure where I read that or who the doctor was. But again, we should not be surprised that this is the kind of person who actually undertakes abortion as a profession.
The worst part of the story was the phrase “routine abortion.” Whether or not abortions should be legal, they should never be “routine”!
Book have you blocked me?
So is this article At least the little girl will know she was wanted…she’ll probably pray that she does not screw up though.
Peter Singer thinks that a 5 day post birth abortion is just fine.
Is it any wonder why an Arizona shooter would think it is ok to murder when life is this cheap?
Anybody else losing posts?
Wow that was weird for whatever reason I could not get that post to post either in IE or Firefox. I did change my link maybe that was the difference I kept getting a message that what I was posting was a duplicate post and it was not showing…:/
Thanks for not blocking me and my apologies that it would ever cross my puny mind
The link in my #9 post reminds me of when Rush used to say if you don’t think abortion is a political thing wait until they can prove homosexuality can be seen in the gens and the parents want to about for another chance at a hetero baby. Then you will see the left protest and I venture to say even force the woman to carry to full term or it will be a hate crime for which she will have to do community service in the Castro or at a Planned parenthood “clinic” – probably both.
MacG – I have trouble posting here sometimes also. Does a strange thing of putting everything I type backwards and vertical, rather than left to right. I almost always have to reopen the page in a new tab before I can start typing.

Really the absolute worst of the story is in this grand jury document i found linked at another site. Skip down to page 99 and start reading the horrific testimonies of the people who worked there. You won’t be able to stop reading…..and wondering how an entire group of people ever thought this was somehow okay.

No, I haven’t, Mac, nor do I find any of your comments trapped in spam. Very strange.
MacG — If it helps any, I’ve learned to hit Ctrl-A Ctrl-C (i.e. select all and copy, if Windows) before hitting the Post button. Haven’t had any serious trouble with spiked comments in quite awhile, but it’s a nice insurance policy to have the basic (unformatted) text stored on the clipboard, just in case.
This is the story that I was trying to link to about a couple aborting twin boys so they colud have another go in hopes of a girl
I didn’t read the link. I couldn’t read the link. It has been part of the 24 hours news cycle locally. I don’t know how many gruesome details are included in print – I’ve heard more than I can emotionally handle on the radio.
It’s murder for hire – period.
and wondering how an entire group of people ever thought this was somehow okay.
They made money off of it. What else do you need to explain it with. That pretty much explains most of it. Most, I say, not all.
I learned to do the same thing as Spartacus, simply because I have written a lot of stuff and lost a few of em due to technical issues.
If wordpress says your comment is a duplication, it means it is in the system but it is lagged out and hasn’t reached the servers yet. Sometimes it happens.
When the Left supports evil, there’s nothing surprising about it to me. As I said before, there’s nothing I’m unwilling to believe they are capable of.
I found this you tube about MArgaret Sanger’s comment about exterminating the Negro population via palnned parent hood via Wake Up Black America
MacG, not unexpected. They’ve been at it for awhile now, these “Progressives”.
What percentage of the blacks Volks in America vote Democrat and pro-abortion, MacG?
No, Book….that was just part of the deception used to get abortion legalized — read Nathanson’s book The Hand of God. I’m afraid that James Taranto has provided us with the truth about the purpose for legalizing abortion…..
“safe, legal and rare.”
Sadly, the “rare” part of that was always a lie. It’s painful to think about what that tells us about the heroes of the “pro-choice” movement.
I hear that Jefferson Davis supported a white man’s “right to choose” whether or not blacks were human beings.
