I wasn’t expecting that — WoW for 2/4/11

I knew that the post I submitted for this week’s Watcher’s Council vote was pretty good ( wouldn’t have submitted it otherwise), but I was so completely overwhelmed by the high quality of the other submissions, I assumed I wouldn’t even show up on the winner’s map. I was therefore very surprised to find myself in third place — although with the huge vote spread this week, it’s probably not that surprising. As it is, I still think the other submissions were better, and I urge you to read them all:
