Just a tiny nit-pick Book. In at least some, if not all, situations there are three persons affected by an abortion decision. The father is the forgotten entity.

This visual and audio novel was released in 2009 and it features an alien accident which demolished and killed all the politicians at the White House and the Kremlin (hey, it’s starting to sound good already). In order to keep the “Prime Directive”, they brainwashed the world and replaced the respective leaders with two girls. For the free world, it was a cute white girl with green eyes. As her VP, she chose her childhood friend and perhaps future lover. And she gives speeches about hope and change and Yes We Can.

Ymar, I was reared in a fairly conservative Catholic household. Later, when I needed to justify my desire to justify my desires and not think too hard, I strayed from that upbringing. But even when I was living in Berkeley in the 60s and traveling amidst a cohort of freelovers and thinkers, I could see the stupidity and self-destructiveness of the bohemian (leftist) lifestyle. Over the years, even at my worst, I could never bring myself to countenance abortion, and I remember secretly thrilling anytime a president donned a set of balls and did something like whup Khmer Rouge ass during the Mayaguez Incident or liberate Grenada from Marxist thugs.

So, what I’ve done is traveled back to my origins. It’s the case of coming home again and seeing the place for the first time.

Can’t see the forest for the trees isn’t it. Whether it’s cognitive distance or actual real distance, my turning point came in the early 90′s. I left America a liberal and was forced into watching CNN International for evening news. The fake facts vs my ‘seeing it with my own eyes’ was the turning point for me. I realized that they were living on Planet CNN and I was on Planet Earth. Each time they beamed down to get the ‘scoop’ they were wearing an ‘I am better than thou space suit’ which avoided contamination with reality, facts and humanity.

There are aliens among us, they’re not little green men – they’re just green behind their ears.

My conversion was years in the making with finalisation coming on a beuatiful spring day at noon while eating lunch in my car under a big elm tree while listening to Dennis Preger on the radio. The big controversies at the time in the mid-80′s were the California death penalty and abortion. In Orange County California, a little girl was kidnapped from her home by a neighbor - an electrical engineer, an educated man, a successful man with a home and all the toys one would assume with such station.

This nice man, this good neighbor took the child into his big RV, travelled to San Diego County, raped her, killed her, dumped her little body in a ditch along a country road, and set her body afire. He returned home and cleaned his RV with Clorox bleach and the police found nothing in the first search. A more thorough search turned up a single fingerprint on the bedroom nightstand that came from the little girl he had killed.

The Leftist protested the guilty verdict and the capital sentence. Elsewhere, Leftists were advocating in public demonstrations women’s right to abortion without restriction. Save the life of the child killer was all I could hear and I could no longer justify and rationalize my support for such dissonance. From there, it was easier to discard the stupidities of the Left. How could nuclear power be so unhealthy like if Carl Sagan was telling us, that a city destroyed by an A-bomb would be uninhabitable for 50-500 years, when Hiroshima and Nagasaki had been the targets of very dirty nuclear bomb attacks were still occupied by healthy human beings? A long term study of the H & N survivors from 1947-1996 showed 4000 people died from various cancers, far lower than the average American death toll from smoking or beach play. It just didn’t make sense. Leftist arguments just don’t make sense.

It’s like the AT&T vs. Verizon commercial with ATT saying it costs more for slow service; it makes sense if you don’t think about it.
