Drudge’s low-key editorializing about Obama’s priorities

I love the way Matt Drudge does his editorials. They’re incredibly subtle. By carefully positioning headlines next to each other, he manages to create a compelling narrative:

I hope we’re all clear now on Obama’s priorities.

As my German neighbor Siegberta would say, “Ja, Die Räder kommen aus.”
Das habe ich verstehen, Charles Martel.
Ooops. Verstanden.
I understanded it anyway.
I will not revert to the language of mine ancestors to discuss.
When it comes to German, I know next to nuffink, unless I Google.
Drudge had a very good combination there. As the POTUS appears to spend more time on puff interviews, fund-raising, and playing golf or BB, the “silliness” may have been a case of projection.
As others have pointed out , this is also another in the long list of Obama’s outwardly showing contempt for his political opponents. Perhaps the first instance where others were made aware of his contempt was his “bitter clinging to guns and religion” characterization of rural “folk” – a favorite Obama word- in the 2008 primary campaign. At least Obama didn’t call them rural volk dummkopfs, so perhaps we should be grateful to Obama for restraining himself.
