Does Trump’s endorsement matter?

Trump has played coy this morning, leaving people with the impression first that he was going to endorse Newt, and then with the fact that he endorsed Mitt.  He still has time to change his mind.

My question for you:  Does Trump’s endorsement matter?  Are there still people out there who look to the man for political guidance?

I never knew that such people existed at all. Trump is Ground Hog Day (film version) …predictable and not worth the price of admission.

I don’t really understand why anyone’s endorsement matters.  That includes newspapers.
Who cares what they think?  Why should I change my mind because of someone’s endorsement?
Too many people these days do not have their own minds and cannot think for themselves.  That might be the problem.

No, Trump’s endorsement is utterly meaningless to me.

I’ve decided what the lesson of Florida is:  Negative campaign ads WORK.  Especially when there’s a lot of em.

Romney overwhelmed Newt with money spent on negative ads, period.  Perhaps there was a strategy to be had by the Newt campaign to counter this, but if such a strategy exists, they didn’t find it.

Obama is readying his billion-dollar media campaign, and boy, will it be negative.  Is there a strategy to be had for the eventual GOP nominee to counter it?

One thing the Don’s endorsement means to me is that at least for a while he has tabled his ambitions to run as a 3rd party candidate.

Even if (some) endorsements still matter…..I’m trying to think WHO would care that Donald Trump has endorsed Romney…..
Nope.  Total and complete failure of imagination……..

A comedic self aggrandizing interloper who never tires of saying , “look at me, look at me. look at me; ain’t I ‘purdy’ and smart too, and by the way look at my hair”. No serious, intelligent person would pay any attention to him.

The number of serious, intelligent people very small and getting smaller.
