Reading about these horrific attacks, I can't help but remembering the terrible wave of terrorism that was kicked off in 1982 with butchery in the Jewish quarter of Paris (rue des Rosiers.) Then, as it seems is now happening, the perpetrators were assumed to be neo-nazis (or Irish nationalists, or...) A friend of mine just came back from a trip to Israel to see kids and grandkids. He told me that he had been to the southern city of Ashdod for the first time and really enjoyed it. But he said, imagine a town of 250,000 people in any other city in the entire world, having missiles and rockets shot blindly into it with the explicit intent of murdering its citizens.

What would any other country do? Absorb it like Ashdod does?
250,000 No, it doesn’t matter if it’s 250 or 25 people, but I didn’t realize that Ashdod is that big (ok, I just double-checked and one source said it’s a mere 211,000).

My friend happened to arrive in Ashdod after the latest cease-fire. He says it’s one thing to talk about this, it’s another to see the rocket shards lined up and to realize that this mass of people in this nice town were targeted for no reason other than being Jews/Israelis. He…and I…fully agree with the idea of taking back Gaza and bringing back the folks who were displaced. Let ‘em put back up the greenhouses that the Gazans destroyed…and if the Gazans won’t live peaceably let them go to Egypt (though the Egyptians hate the Palestinians like the rest of the Arab world does, in spite of lip service).

It’s enough already.

More recent facts tonight complicates the story considerably. French investigators have identified the motorcycle and the weapon to be the same in the school shooting and the killings of the four paratroopers in two separate attacks last week. None of the four paratroopers was Jewish – two were Moroccan and two were Muslim. There’s a possibility someone or group is attempting to start an ethnic war in France and perhaps elsewhere as there have been deadly attacks on mosques in Belgium in which one iman has been killed.

This is what happens when you refuse to cleanse your enemies from the face of existence, instead do the hand wringing excuse of “that would be bad”. Well, for every Jew that lacked the will power to do what it took, take a look at the consequences. You don’t have to listen to me and do what necessity demands. You can just sit right there. The Arabs will do it for you, for their side.

Another example of how people in America don’t get it, except this time it involves an Executive Order by Obama. A lot of people are busy arguing back and forth about whether this sets the stage for martial law. My view: everything the Left does is setting up sleeper terrorist cells for Final Hour, it doesn’t matter what Reagan or Bush did with the EO, THEY AREN’T IN POWER. Give a good man the power to execute 50 people a year, and guess what? A bunch of evil people will die usually. Give an evil and corrupt man the power to execute 50 people a year, and guess what?
