“After my election, I have more flexibility.”
Flexibility – for what? Have we ever learned the exact item that was under discussion for which Obama needs “more flexibility”?
And why is he constrained in his “flexibility” BEFORE the elections? Anyone with half a brain knows the answer to this one: If the truth came out, he would lose this election. Obama has made the calculation that if the American People knew what he was up to, so many of them would vote against him that he would lose the election. No other conclusion is possible.
So… what is he hiding? What is Obama hiding from the American People?
This video should at least raise that question in many minds.
Maybe if American Crossroads would stop running the ads on youtube and put them on boob tube, they would have more impact. I saw this months ago and shared it. Of course, I am sharing it with like-minded friends. The few times I’ve attempted to get the message to the “others” has put me on the big sh*t list here in my liberal highrise. I haven’t given up…there’s a very nice poster picture of an empty chair taped to my front door. It won’t come down until November.
Mike, Obama isn’t hiding anything – his followers are blind deaf and dumb. Oops, can’t use that reference anymore, it’s not on the PC list – rewrite: his followers are Democrats.
Sadie, I’m thinking more of that middle third. You’ve got the liberal third, who will vote for Obama no matter what; and you’ve got my third, the conservative third, who will vote for Romney – or should I say, against Obama – no matter what. The people I’m think of are in the middle third. Whatever Obama was up to with Medvedev, he figures he’d lose so many of THOSE people, that he couldn’t afford the risk.
After the election, Obama *is* free. Because he doesn’t much give a damn about the future of American politics, nor specifically about the future of Democrat American politics. It’s possible that his real agenda will actually be highly destructive to the Democrat party as we understand it. Obama truly is the first un-American President. To the extend his politics seem American, they are highly leftist, and come from his time spent in leftist American universities. But his entire formative period – from birth to 18 – was spent well outside the normal American experience. His cultural upbringing was different, his political upbringing was foreign. (Even if you examine his time in Hawaii, it was unusual.)
If Obama wins 2012, it will be highly interesting to discern internal Democrat politics through the subsequent four years. Obama won’t give a damn about the future of the Democrat party; but you can bet his fellow Democrats in Congress will, and those influential in Democrat politics will! THEY all need re-election where Obama doesn’t. The internal struggle will be interesting. Of course, I hope I don’t get to see it; of course I believe an Obama re-election would be profoundly damaging to the country.

Mike, you raise an interesting scenario. A Democrat implosion. If the DNC convention and the “once, twice, three times you’re Jerusalem and there is a G-d” is any indicator – they already have an internal problem. Traveling into time, it certainly would make for a bizarre and strange mid-term 2014 – Democrats distancing themselves from Obama. What would they say? They didn’t know? Caught off-guard? My dog ate my homework? I didn’t see 2016-the movie?
Obama’s been hiding the same things the Left has been hiding. Evil so atrocious few Americans are even willing to stomach the imagination of, let alone be capable of doing so.
