Keep it civil, but come here to whine, opine, analyze, gloat (if you do it nicely), blame, predict, etc.
I might take some time away from blogging today. I think I need to touch bases with the things that haven’t changed (household chores, mostly) to keep my perspective about the fact that life goes on. Barring imminent calamities, any decline we experience as a nation will be slow and steady. To quote Al Gore, we’re all slowly boiling frogs now.
