Question: How many Hamas children does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Answer: No one knows. Hamas is to busy building missiles to make any light bulbs.

Question: If you looked through the window of a Hamas elementary school, how many children would you see in each classroom?
Answer: It's hard to tell, what with all those missiles that Hamas puts right next to all their schools. You can't look through the windows! The missiles are blocking the view.

Hamas children are doing far better on 4th Grade Mathematics questions than their American peers. For example, 95% of Hamas children got this question correct:

If your school is 160 meters long and 40 meters wide, and a missile is 8 meters long, how many missiles arranged end to end would be required to completely surround your school?

Then again, I hear the Hamas children cheated. They all just went outside and counted.

If I understood the news yesterday, it appears that Israel has managed to open the Gates Of Hell.

I for one am very impressed. It couldn't have been very easy, opening those gates. They're hardly EVER open.

Those Israelis sure don't fool around. I mean, they could have simply opened the gates to 16475 Primrose Lane, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, 64901. And called it a day. I hear the U.N. just passed a resolution condemning Israel, because they opened the Gates of Hell without asking anyone inside first if that would be ok.

Does anyone know if they've got a camera crew at The Gates yet? Has Candy Crowley tried to interview any of the more approachable denizens on the inside? She could shout a few questions their way, just to see if they'll answer.

I did one more map. Let us ask, would we tolerate Washington, DC (Gaza) sending rockets into the Maryland suburbs as they tried to reach Baltimore (Tel Aviv)?

I wonder about population densities? Is that area of Israel really less densely populated than the Washington-Baltimore corridor?

Our prayers with them.

The Israeli parents should send thank you notes to their American friends who voted for Obama. Otherwise, their children might not have had this opportunity to be forged in battle.

We in the US should keep in mind just how tiny Israel is. A while back I got curious about the comparison and found this mapping site that allowed you to outline a region then move that outline over other parts of the world.

http://mapfrappe.com/?show=7389 - Israel overlaid - Marin county to just shy of the Oregon border

http://mapfrappe.com/?show=2937 - Israel overlaid - New Haven, CT to the Canadian border in Vermont

If you could rotate the outline, you'd see it fits just about the area severely impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
