“Don’t fail me now, feet” (often said, “Feets, don’t fail me now) was a catch phrase from the days of vaudeville. Many spoke the words,but perhaps none so famously as actor Stepin Fetchit in the 1940 film “The Ghost Breakers” with Bob Hope.
