“Because he has the rare gift of simplifying very complex ideas without dumbing them down.”

It definitely takes great intelligence to communicate clearly; an increasingly rate ability.

I am reminded of a short story I read long ago. The Earth was on the verge of destruction, and was being covertly surveyed by aliens who wanted to know if there was intelligent life worth saving. Their criteria was the ability to communicate with another species.

They took the dolphins.

"If you’re a leftist. it’s gotta be hard keeping all those mental compartments watertight and logic-proof, and incommunicado with one another."

And yet, the left is trying hard to do so. Because it is one of the very few support columns under their insane ideology.

I too like Thomas Sowell. And Allen West. I'm afraid I haven't yet heard or seen many black people who weren't either stupid, leftist, gang-affiliated or something along those lines- but intelligent men like these I can respect. And they might just be amongst what's needed.

Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Allen West, Herman Cain, Mia B. Love, Condaleeza Rice, Frederick Douglas, Martin Luther King and the list goes on. There is a book titled "Back to BAsics for the Republican Party" written by Michael Zak. Order through Bookworm's Amazon Connection. In this book Zak tells the story of how and why the party was formed, that intitially blacks in America were Republicans, not only as voters but ran and were elected to state and federal offices until the White Southern teamed with New York State Democrats made it impossible for blacks to run. They levied poll taxes and began the slaughter of those "uppity" niggers. Poor white people in the south were also upset because blacks until they were freed were always at a lower station than they were. I wasn't planning to see Lincoln because it is Speilberg and I don't want to support him. Now, however, I believe I'll have to go see it just so I can point out to people what he left out.

Liberals' belief in man's innate goodness (that is, unless he is an oppressed Palestinian pushed beyond endurance by conniving Jews), is an indirect way of pointing at oneself and saying, "Look at what a good person I am for thinking the loving and benevolent things I do!"

However, one of the innate goodnesses of humans is the ability to know deep down when they are fooling themselves. That becomes manifest when liberals spew the contents of their inner selves all over conservatives. Deeply closeted racism, anti-Semitism, and queer hatred comes out in their sneers against us because that's the only way such evil can out itself in a socially acceptable way.

I remember laughing at Breitbart's $100,000 challenge for any sort of proof that Tea Partiers had hurled racist insults at members of Congress in the run-up to the passage of Obamacare. The humor for me wasn't in knowing that the left had manufactured a baseless accusation but rather the insight that the left expected us to descend to its rhetorical level in a heated political fight. I think there must have been great dismay that the evil conservative exceptions to the goodness of man acted as though they were. . . innately good.

If you're a leftist. it's gotta be hard keeping all those mental compartments watertight and logic-proof, and incommunicado with one another.

What a legacy he would have left.
