Many good things have come across from the net, including kick starter and Japanese culture. The perfect example of a free market, free of totalitarian greed and factional strife, where one's man success does not equate to another person's failure and suffering. May it in the future also be said of life in our nations and communities.

Robert wrote a series of posts several years ago with the same title....they were WONDERFUL!! I'm really pleased that he's made a book of it.

E-publishing is enabling lots of people to write their books who would never have had a chance in the past....and that's terrific. Reminds me of the old story about the guy who gets to heaven and the first angel he sees invites him to a poetry reading by "the greatest poet who ever lived on earth". He followed the angel, wondering if he would hear Robert Frost, Shakespeare, David the Psalmist, etc..... When he got there, the poet was introduced as Hannah P. (or whoever)....when he asked the angel what was up, saying he'd never heard of her, he was told that she'd never published any of her poetry because she'd spent her life raising her kids and working to be sure the family had enough for school supplies, etc.

It's going to be harder to miss out on poetry, music, stories, etc. from ordinary folks in the future.
