Before, it was all “you’re either a Democrat, or a traitor to the South”. Similar to how blacks think in urban Demo fiefdoms.
 
In the sense that Obama is getting people to vote for him, or rather manufacturing more votes than his opponents can rally against Obama, Obama can be the new Reagan so long as he converts former Republican strongholds into Democrat fiefdoms.
