I don't know, Ymar... a lot of people vote a certain way because *on balance* they view one candidate (or party) as more in line with their values than the other, far worse, party. Give many Obama voters the facts of Benghazi and they may very well disfavor it, but without changing their minds about their vote.

We run the same risk as conservatives when we consistently vote for the GOP candidate regardless of how the candidate (or the GOP) treats us and how they reflect our values.

We, as conservatives, consistently bemoan the fact that most blacks are "on the plantation" for the Democrat Party. The Democrats own their vote lock, stock and barrel, despite demonstrable evidence that the Democrats' policies are consistently harmful to blacks overall. To us, it appears that blacks mindlessly, and against their own interests, continue to blindly vote Democrat.

Yet, what do we do ourselves as conservatives by consistently voting GOP? When the evidence indicates that the powers within the GOP are now consistently rubbing our faces in the mud? They have no respect for us, and they do not value us. All they do every election year is throw us a few bones by *saying* things that we like, but then they go right back to turning their backs on us, violating our principles, even stabbing us in the back. In what way are WE not "on the plantation" for the GOP? The GOP's actions - the actions of those within the GOP power structure - often indicate that we are their enemy.

If Blacks should not remain on the Democrat plantation, perhaps we conservatives should not remain on the GOP reservation.

Everybody who voted for Obama, essentially just tried to kill all the Americans at that embassy, but only got a few. That's basically what happened.
Obama didn't just abandon 4 people, he abandoned the 30+ people at the consulate. It is only because of the two former SEALs at the nearby annex, who defied orders in choosing to intervene, that all but Stevens & Smith are alive today. Who are they and where have they been since 9/11/2012? I'd be curious to hear how they feel about being abandoned by their president and Secretary of State.
Based on Panetta's testimony, we also learned that Hillary wasn't ready to take the "3 am call," either.
