We sure dodged a bullet when Dubya edged out Gore for the presidency back in 2000.

Can you imagine what it would have been like had he won? A Jew-hater who would have actively opposed the development of our fossil fuel resources? A tireless jet-setter who would have traveled the country ceaselessly campaigning on behalf of green companies and energy? A rabble rouser who would have seen GOP racism always and everywhere? A proponent of “lead-from-behind” diplomacy?

Thank you, God, for sparing us from such a president!

Well, thanks, AlGore. Probably a good thing the NRA isn't the one running this fight for our enumerated rights. Sure, they lend their organization and contacts. Bravely stand the withering assault of the Left and media. But the NRA membership is only 4% of gun owners in America. Ruger recently sent the NRA a check for $1million. They made a big deal out of it by promising $1 out of every firearm sale to the NRA.

BUT the NRA has about 4 million members and annual membership is about $35 per year. Some easy math means they have an annual budget of about $140 million, just from membership dues.

Al Gore can’t understand that much money coming from the rank and file just because of their convictions.

The National Shooting Sport Federation (NSSF) and the Sporting Arms and ammunitions Manufacturers Institute (SAAMI) are supported by gun manufacturers.
