Chris Christie — Obama’s ideological heir when it comes to Israel

Chris ChristieWhen Chris Christie burst upon the scene, I admired him for being willing to do what no other American politician would:  tackle the teacher’s union head on.  He was articulate and unafraid.  I still admire him for that.  But as time went by, we learned a bit more about Christie.  It began to seem that his willingness to stand up to the teacher’s union wasn’t necessarily a principled stand, but was a bully’s attack on an entity with which he didn’t wish to share power.  Conservatives were also put off by his open embrace of Barack Obama in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, a piece of over-the-top theatrics that exceeded even what a Democrat governor might be expected to do.

And worst of all, from my viewpoint, we learned — over and over and over — that, when push comes to shove, Chris Christie will always side with Islamic and Saudi interests against American interests.  At first, those stories sounded like nasty rumors.  They then piled up enough to present a picture of a man who’s made a decision about which side he prefers in the America v. Islam debate, and it’s not the side I choose.  Should you have any further doubt about that, Daniel Pipes details how Christie has bought the Palestinian “occupation” narrative hook, line, and sinker.

In other words, it looks as if any Christie presidency would be an Obama redux:  bullying, corruption, and antisemitism.  I can do without that, so Chris Christie, the man who once seemed to have so much promise, is hereby knocked off my list of potential presidential candidates.

    Christie was never a consideration.
    August 2010 BS (Before Sandy)
Judge Joseph Charles, known as the shariah judge of NJ, denied a restraining order to a woman who had been sexually assaulted by her then husband.  In denying the restraining order, Judge Joseph Charles ruled that

This court does not feel that, under the circumstances, that this defendant had a criminal desire to or intent to sexually assault or to sexually contact the plaintiff when he did. The court believes that he was operating under his belief that it is, as the husband, his desire to have sex when and whether he wanted to, was something that was consistent with his practices and it was something that was not prohibited.

This ridiculous ruling was overturned by the Appellate Court. Unfortunately, this asinine judge, Joseph Charles was reappointed by Gov. Christie in May, and now has lifetime tenure.

Guy sounds half-witted even for a New Jersey judge.  Another one who supposes that anyone outside his immediate family gives a damn what he feels.

There were a lot of rumours of that sort floating around. But since I didn’t care about the elections much, I didn’t investigate the data sources. But the rumours were never dispelled, so I started assuming they were true.

Christie was the original golden boy for the establishment. Now, they’ve moved on to Jeb Bush. Lord help us.

Here’s a dumb question:  What does the Republican establishment want that differs in any way from what the Democrat establishment wants?  Is there any way to reach these people?  I went straight from Democrat to conservative, so I bypassed the establishment.  I really don’t know who or what it is.

      • Ymarsakar

The establishment are people who are career politicians or socialites like the Bush family, but lacking the aristocratic virtues.
An easy way to reach them is the same way the Left controls them, via blackmail, bribes, and threats.

The thing people should keep in mind on this is that Muslims have already crippled FBI’s counter intel work on AQ and terrorism. It’s gotten to the point where the FBI’s counter intel network is only allowed to do successful work on the Yeelands. All the other issues, like the Marathon bombing, were undetected. On purpose, because the people training the FBI on detecting terrorists, are Muslim B terrorists themselves. This is not a mistake, but it’s the active nature of diversity and the Left’s intent.
If Mexico was an easier place to base out of for Islam, we would have major city wide bombs and DC sniper incidents year long.
A person in an executive position can do immense damage merely by corrupting and making blind the nation’s counter intel, intel, and domestic security organizations.

Also Bridge Gate could easily be an attempt to make Christie jump over to the Democrats. There have been several Republicans that have done the same thing.

Good. Every RINO that defects just illustrates why conservatives cannot trust them.

  • Charles Martel

Christie is a godsend to the Democrats:
If he defects, he’s proof that the GOP purges moderates and is now a party of ultra-reactionary loons.
If he stays in the GOP, he becomes the RINO that the whore media pump for as the party’s 2016 presidential candidate, since everybody knows that only a moderate Republican has any chance of pulling votes away from friendly, shiny Hillary Clinton.
Even if he doesn’t get the GOP nomination, he becomes a powerful symbol of anti-union demagoguery that the parasitical head honchos of the UAW, NEA, and SEIU can rally their thralls against. (The tolerant and enlightened left can even throw in some fat jokes to amuse itself.)
