There will be more to come Open Thread

It’s been one of those days, beginning at 7 a.m. when the rolls of no-mow lawn arrived.  After that came the inspector for some construction work we had, the men installing the lawn, the Sears repairman for my stubbornly broken washer, the cleaning ladies (bless them), and the pool cleaner.  (And yes, I appreciate that I live a singularly blessed life to have all these benefits.)  Meanwhile, I’ve been getting a non-stop stream of phone calls and texts.  I feel like the ball in a high velocity pinball machine, just bouncing from one thing to another.

In about 1 hour, I expect things to calm down a little, although I think I’ll need to head to the laundromat.  This machine isn’t going to be fixed by the time the guy leaves.  Sigh.  Keep the faith, though.  I will write something more today.

How about this to kick things off: Medical staffers divulge what’s happening at one of DHS’s refugee camp housing illegal alien children (Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas) despite threat of arrest.

“We have so many kids coming in that there was no way to control all of the sickness – all this stuff coming into the country,” she said. “We were very concerned at one point about strep going around the base.”

Both the counselor and the nurse said their superiors tried to cover up the extent of the illnesses.

“When they found out the kids had scabies, the charge nurse was adamant – ‘Don’t mention that. Don’t say scabies,’” the nurse recounted.
    . . .
The nurse told me she became especially alarmed because their files indicated the children had been transported to Lackland on domestic charter buses and airplanes.

“That’s what alerted me,” she said. “Oh, my God. They’re flying these kids around. Nobody knows that these children have scabies and lice. To tell you the truth, there’s no way to control it.”

This is going to be bad.

Engineered catastrophe. Constructed emergency. Guess what the Left will do when that happens. What did Democrats do with the NG in New Orleans during Katrina?

FEMA had camp data for gathering a lot of Americans a few years ago. People always wondered about that. Unless, of course, it wasn’t “Americans” they were targeting for those Emergency Camps…

How many of the girl and boy children will be “disappeared” and end up in Hollywood’s dungeon basements of their directors and homo actors? Anyone know? Imagine it?

I’m rather fond of mowing the lawns. It takes about three hours to get the main body done, then another hour or so of edging, getting under trees, etc. That part’s less enjoyable, but that three hours on the tractor with ear buds in and a ball game on; a fine cigar; a non=spill cup of something summery (g & t?) riding along in the cup holder – this is well removed from penance. This is a private world that’s not bad at all! You may keep your ‘no-mow’ stuff, and good luck to you!
