Tahoe — the moment Fall became Winter

I’m still in Tahoe helping a friend and I have been reveling in Tahoe’s beauty. I also managed to catch the change of seasons. Yesterday was Tahoe’s farewell to Fall (taken in mid-afternoon as the clouds gathered):

And this morning revealed the Winter’s first snowfall:

I’m so fortunate to experience such beauty.

I’m heading home tomorrow, but because I’m flying from one non-urban airport in the West to another non-urban airport in the Southeast, the trip from door to door will take 12 hours, including two layovers. I’m tired already just thinking about it. I’ll be back at my desk on Friday, though. Hurrah!
