During his 2008 campaign, we were assured that Obama was the greatest orator since Lincoln, or perhaps ever. I would amend that slightly, to give Obama a title he really deserves: Barack Obama. greatest teleprompter reader ever. Take Obama off the teleprompter, and he displays unparalleled abilities at being rude, crude, ignorant, inarticulate, and confusing.
The most recent example is his speech in Colorado, which made it sound as if he wants to bail out every industry in America:
I’m absolutely certain that his subsequent clarification, conveyed through his Politico mouthpiece is correct: Putting aside the fallacy about American auto industry success, in a nice, abstract way that doesn’t at all include his anti-capital policies, Obama wants all industries to thrive as he alleges the American auto industry has thrived. But that’s not what the greatest orator said. His speech is so muddled and ambiguous, that any reasonable listener would readily believe that he intends to use taxpayer funds to buy out every industry in America.
Some orator! Pfeh!
