I love Richard Rogers’ music. Slaughter on 10th Avenue comes from the musical On Your Toes, which opened in 1936, starring Ray Bolger and Tamara Geva. Slaughter is a show within the show, telling the tale of a dance hall girl, a hoofer, and a fatal love triangle. Gene Kelly
