Learning to Learn. I have never been able to understand how the primary educational institutions have never realized that learning is a skill. Many years ago I taught industrial arts, auto shop. Part of the industrial arts teacher training was the discussion of learning through the hands as well as the eyes and ears. Strangely, the fact that industrial arts had the hands as well as the eyes and ears which differentiated it from normal primary education never bled into the brain of the system. People learn differently. So why not teach learning to learn? Ignoring the process of learning defies rational intelligence.
