Revolutionary thinking *UPDATED*

Obama’s thinking:  The last time the American people got exercised enough to rebel and overthrow a government was more than two hundred thirty years ago.  Slight dip in the economy notwithstanding, they’re fat and happy, they like me, and they’re going to sit idly by as I effect the complete destruction of the American system.  Woo-hoo!

The Mullahs’ thinking:  The last time the Iranian people got exercised enough to rebel and overthrow a government was only thirty years ago.  They’re deeply oppressed, have been economically troubled for years, and have finally realized that all the elections for the last thirty years have been rigged.  We are in deep doo-doo.

UPDATE:  Obama’s thinking on Iran:  Damn, damn, damn.  I have no idea what to do.  I know I’m supposed to take some sort of stand here, but I’m just so conflicted.  I don’t understand why everyone is so upset about the rigged elections.  Isn’t that what you’re supposed to do?  Why else have I been supporting ACORN for so long?  And I really hate to go up against those Muslim countires.  First of all, they can get kind of mean, and second of all, I kind of agree with them about the Jews and Allah and stuff.  But I think the American people don’t like what’s going on, and I need to retain my popularity at home to carry about my economic changes.   What to do?  What to do?
