Irish humor in print

The Irish love good humor. Democrats, not necessarily. That’s probably why Alicia Colon felt a need to contribute this expose of O’bama’s brilliant sense of humor to an Irish paper (the Irish Examiner).

Here’s a teaser:

“Obama’s latest faux pas was picked up in a Breitbart Big Journalism site that I’m proud to write for. It’s the only place where you can actually access the truth that the MSM always covers up about Obama.

Warner Todd Huston reported on a Florida Townhall meeting in 2009 where Obama said,“You know, somebody – Governor Crist mentioned Abraham Lincoln. He – in the middle of the Civil War, in the midst of all this danger and peril, what did he do? He helped move the intercontinental railroad.”

A slip of the tongue, perhaps but on two other occasions Obama was found to confuse intercontinental with transcontinental. What was particularly hilarious were the comments made after the Huston article:

A blogger named Flappdoodle wrote: I took a trip on the intercontinental railroad once. It went through all 57 states to the country of Africa. All my luggage got wet.”

The Irish get it.
