Was Obama even in the Situation Room the night bin Laden died?

This will published at Mr. Conservative soon.  You, my friends, get a preview of coming attractions:

Obama situation room photograph

You remember the famous picture of Obama sitting tensely in a corner watching the real-time coverage of the Navy SEALS’ raid on the Osama bin Laden compound? Heck, you must have been visiting relatives on Mars if you missed it. It was trumpeted in every media outlet along with Obama’s self-referential speech (which was unusually self-referential even by Obama’s standards) about how he, personally, was entirely responsible for killing bin Laden.

People with experience in Photoshop manipulation have suggested, quite strongly, that the whole photo is a fake – a composite put together to have Obama in the room, when he wasn’t really, as well as to include an extra woman (in addition to Hillary) to satisfy the gods of political correctness. The best of these analyses is by Mara Zebest, who did a May 9, 2012, write-up at American Thinker entitled “Strange Anomalies in the Famous Situation Room Photo.” She details all of the peculiar shadows, transparencies, and size discrepancies that are typical of faked photos.

“Most people were like down in the Situation Room and [President Obama] was like, ‘I’m not going to be down there, I can’t watch this entire thing,’ We must have played 15 games of spades.”

Putting aside the photograph’s peculiarities, please take a moment to think about what Love said: The Navy SEALS’ Commander-in-Chief, whose life wasn’t actually at risk, still didn’t have the courage to stay by his men even from the safety of the White House situation room.

Incidentally, the President’s BFFs at YouTube immediately deleted the video of this interview with Reggie Love. Fortunately, it had been saved at LiveLeak, so you can enjoy it along with the other Americans who are actually paying attention.
