Lawyering, writing, and mothering . . . all in the same day

It’s coming on for 11:30 p.m. here, and I’m still working away.  Had I slept until 8 this morning, that would be okay.  As it is, I’ve been working since 5:30, writing, doing legal work, and ferrying the kids, so I’m almost comatose with fatigue.   I’ll probably look at this work tomorrow and wonder why I bothered.  Still, there’s another attorney waiting for my work product, and he shall get it!

As for me, I’m wondering whether the WWII vets’ last battle has yet to occur.  When it comes to a fight between the Obama administration, on the one hand, and a group of honored, fragile veterans, on the other hand, the optics favor the veterans.

Those who support Obamacare seem to have missed the most essential problems:  it only works if more young people than old people sign up, but there are no incentives for young people to sign up.  Because it’s predicated on an unsustainable premise, it must inevitably collapse and, probably, that will happen sooner than later.

Any thoughts?  Not only are you guys brilliant, your brains are almost certainly functioning better than mine is now.
