On the Streets of San Francisco

Bay_Bridge%2C_San_Francisco%2C_California[1]I was in San Francisco yesterday, and two things caught my eye.  The first was a man standing on a corner near Haight-Ashbury with a protest sign bearing the words “Dump Trump.”  How stupid do you have to be to stand in the fog and wind in what’s probably the hardest Left district of San Francisco (“Every man and woman a Bernie voter”) to urge people not to vote for a candidate they already despise.  Talking about bringing coals to Newcastle.

The second was a cherubic little boy, about three years old, holding hands with a middle-aged man who was almost certainly his father. The boy was wearing a t-shirt that said, “Gender Is A Drag.”  That kind of makes you wonder what his home life is like, doesn’t it?
